Reunion attendees can choose from the following excursions for the Friday time. We provide recommendations but it is up to the groups to decide exactly what they want to do.

Napa Valley

Enjoy wine country with your family members. There are many options:

• Wine country tours (guided or self-guided)

San Francisco

Enjoy a day in the city with your family members! To get to the city, we recommend taking the ferry from Vallejo or the BART from El Cerrito del Norte. There are many choices of things to see and do in the city, including:

• Exploratorium

• Cable cars

• California Academy of Sciences

• Golden Gate Park

• Chinatown

• Alcatraz

• Art Museum

• Fisherman's Wharf

• Ghirardelli Square

High Tech

Enjoy a trip to NERSC to see the supercomputers, followed by a visit to the Computer History Museum in Mountain View.

Nature

Enjoy a visit to Point Reyes National Seashore with your family members.

Six Flags

Ride the rides and see the animals at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo.

Other

Do something entirely different (including doing nothing!)
